pH Testing
For a $2.00 fee per test sample, Extension Services will conduct a soil pH test utilizing a calibrated meter and documented test procedures. The nominal fee covers the calibration solution and meter calibration. Generally results are available within 7 days, sometimes sooner depending on the day of the week samples are ready to test – samples are dried before testing.

Soil Fertility Test
For a $7.00 fee per test sample, University of Florida (Gainesville) will conduct a Soil Fertility Test that provides six analyses (Soil pH, Lime Requirement, Phosphorus, Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium). It also provides recommended amounts of each mentioned analyzed nutrient, plus Nitrogen (nitrogen is not tested, but general recommendations are made). The test results are generally available within 10 days after UF receives the samples.
