Since graduating from Virginia Tech with a degree in landscape architecture. I have spent my professional and personal careers designing gardens and working with plants. Currently, I am the superintendent of trees and urban beautification for the city of DeLand.

I have enjoyed growing vegetables and fruits in my sanford garden plots since 2021 and also enjoy spending time on the board. It has been rewarding seeing positive growth in our community garden and appreciating the efforts made by so many.

I look forward to nothing but good things in our gardening years to come.
